Chris Salacinski
OWNER & PRINCIPAL · U.S. ARMY VETERAN
Chris founded C&L Builders on a straightforward principle: do excellent work, be honest with your clients, and build the kind of reputation that sustains a business for decades. As a U.S. Army veteran with deep ties to Livingston, he brings operational discipline and community accountability that’s uncommon in the industry.
Building a life in Livingston has taught Chris that everyone needs to communicate clearly and follow through. That principle governs how C&L operates in every county we build in. The relationship between the design team, the build team, and the client is the foundation the whole project is built on.
Chris is the first conversation and the final accountability for every project C&L takes on.
Christopher Mauzy

Christopher grew up in Indiana, and has built a leadership style grounded in clear communication, quick problem-solving, and gritty follow-through. As a former collegiate coach and educator, he has spent more than a decade motivating teams toward a common goal.
That background translates directly to project management: keep the team focused, communicate proactively, and never let a problem become a surprise. Christopher is the day-to-day lead on C&L’s active projects, and the person clients talk with most during a build.
Jonathan Crabtree
PARTNER · FINANCE · VXV CONSULTING
Jonathan brings a decade of corporate FP&A and small-business finance to the C&L Builders team, where he keeps projects financially sound from the contract signing to the final walkthrough. He approaches finance the way C&L approaches construction: with transparency, communication, and a commitment to everyone involved. He and his wife, who runs her own small business, know firsthand what it takes to build something from the ground up, and that perspective shapes how he partners with both C&L and their clients.
Jonathan works with a select group of owner-operated businesses beyond C&L, helping leadership teams get clear on the numbers so they can focus on what they do best.
